Stratos

Decided to do some fan art from an old fave of mine back in the 80's. If you're young you probably don't know. But out of the toy line series, Stratos was one of my favorites.

Amazing...Two Posts in One Day!

Actually, they were done a couple days apart. But at least I'm doing more art outside the "Day" job. This piece was for a new art forum jam of some sort some buddies at work started. Its a biweekly event and there is a "theme" that all the artist must abide by. The first theme...and hopefully not the last is a Dark Stalkers theme. Not like the theme hasn't been done before all over Deviant Art, but its giving us guys at work to have something to focus outside of the mundane world of casino gaming.

I decided to do a version of Lord Raptor / Zabel Zarock ... whatever they call him. Anyways I'm sick so I'm gonna get some rest...

What?..Unbelieveable...another Post!

Thinking about road kill. I saw this cat once hit by a car when I was in the 5th grade. The eyeball was hanging out. Pretty gross at the time. Well I guess its still kinda gross.

Spawn!

Been pretty busy lately, so I've been lacking in the "Posting" department. Alot has been going on but I was able to squeeze out here my stylized version of Spawn. I still have issues with the spikey barrel size boot that he likes to wear.


*On a side note, this illustration looks too gray on my computer at work. I'll have to make some adjustments to make it darker.

CRAZY BUNNY SOX!!!

Some sort of scary beast

Got mad at myself that I am not as good an artist as I want to be. And with where my life is now I find it harder to focus on my art with the baby and family now, my time if really is divided. Don't get me wrong, I love the family life, I just wish there were more hours in the day to focus on improving myself as an artist.
I also wonder if having one particular style will make me more successful than having a variety of diferent styles. Some seem to achieve great success by having one style and stickin to it. I don't think I can really do that. I love 2-d animation, 3-d, concept art, comic books, fine art, airbrushing. You name it! I like too many things and want too many things. Call me artistically greedy! Anyhoo, decided to rough out this guy out and experiment with painting in photoshop. Could work on it more and cleaned it up a bit more, but I just wanted to post. Anyways, enjoy.
